Want to step off the plane looking refreshed after a long flight, but don’t want to bring too much on board? These five easy tips using only minimal products will leave your face looking radiant before landing:

1. Keep your face hydrated

At 30,000 feet up in the sky, the dry air is bound to wreak havoc on your skin. It’s important to keep your skin hydrated as recycled air on airplanes will leave your face looking and feeling parched.

Instead of using a sheet mask that might attract too much attention on the plane, apply a layer of hydrating sleeping mask before you sleep. In no time, your face will feel moisturised and supple!

2. Cleanse your face with toner

We all know airplane washrooms are too small for us to properly wash our face. So, to remove all that oil and gunk, use a toner instead. Toners can cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores too. Plus, you won’t have to leave your seat or risk splashing water all over yourself in that cramped airplane washroom when attempting to wash your face!

3. Use a tinted moisturiser

To prevent clogged pores, it is best to keep your face free from heavy and highly-pigmented makeup when flying.

Swap your foundation for a tinted moisturiser as it gives you lighter coverage and hydration at the same time. Blend some onto your face before landing for a brighter complexion.

4. Fill in your brows

Filling in your brows will frame your face and help you look more awake. Brow powder is the perfect alternative when it comes to filling in those brows in your airplane seat. Before you land, use some to fill in any sparse areas in your eyebrows and you will be almost good to go!

5. Use a lip tint

Lip tints are long-lasting and very natural looking. They can even be used on your cheeks, so you don’t have to bring an extra blusher with you.

Remember to bring a lip tint on board and apply on your lips and cheeks for that pop of colour!
