Summer calls for lighter, fresher scents, so ditch the musks for citrus, fruity, aquatic and florals options instead. Here are a few of our favourite scents this season.

JIMMY CHOO

Jimmy Choo Blossom Limited Edition EDP

The Jimmy Choo Blossom has a lot of layers to it, and that’s probably why we never seem to tire of its scent. The fragrance opens with the radiance of pink grapefruit blended with notes of vine peach, before revealing its floral heart, filled with peony and jasmine petals. In its base is sandalwood, woody and creamy, and musk that gives it its addictive yet delicate sensation.

MARC JACOBS

The Marc Jacobs Daisy is one of our favourite go-to’s. With its warm summer scent that is clean and light, with a hint of floral freshness and fruity sweetness, it goes with every outfit and mood in the warmer months.

ANNA SUI

Anna Sui Flight Of Fancy Eau de Toilette

Just like its aesthetics, Anna Sui’s fragrances are resplendent, almost flamboyant. Flight of Fancy EDT has fruity top notes of yuzu, lychee, and lemon that give way to floral ones like rose, purple freesia, and sweet magnolia, before rounding up with musky white wood and benzoin.

VICTORIA’S SECRET

Victoria’s Secret always offers something sexy in store, just like this Love Is Heavenly perfume. Aside from its irresistible packaging, the scent is a delightful blend of florals with a hint of sweet musk.

PRADA

The newest addition to the Prada Candy family is Sugar Pop, which smells less toothache-inducing than its name suggests. It has a citrus-y blend of that include bergamot, apple, peach, and vanilla notes for a fruity, balanced scent.

BVLGARI

Bvlgari Eau Parfumée Au Thé Vert EDC

This refreshing eau de cologne for men and women pays homage to the Japanese green tea, with a bright and exclusive accord. It has a hint of jasmine, and light notes of cardamom and coriander that lend some warmth to what is otherwise a crisp, clean fragrance. The Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert was Bvlgari’s first fragrance (released in 1992)and was instrumental in solidifying the brand’s image: refined elegance that awakens and refreshes the senses.
